Mr. Ronen Zexer - President and CEO

Mr. Ronen Zexer brings to magink 15 years of experience in executive positions with companies specializing in the development, manufacturing, and selling of high-tech capital equipment. His expertise is in the building of long term strategies and sales and service in new geographic markets. Prior to joining magink, Mr. Zexer was the President and CEO of Sagitta, which produces equipment for manufacturing optic components for the fiber optics industry and equipment for semiconductor laboratories for failure analysis on semiconductor materials.
Previously, Ronen worked for nine years in Orbotech, a world leader in AOI where he served as President of the Electronic Assembly division. Ronen also worked as VP Operations and Customer Support of the European subsidiary of Orbotech, as well as in a number of management positions in other companies. Ronen has a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. David Coates - CTO

Dr David Coates, after completing BSc in chemistry and a PhD on the synthesis and properties of liquid crystals at Hull University with Prof W Gray, Dr Coates was a post-doctoral fellow sponsored by the UK Defence Agency in Malvern and working on materials for the twisted nematic, STN and dyed displays. He then joined STL (the European research centre for ITT) working in the displays group to pioneer and develop new liquid crystal display modes based on smectic and dyed nematic liquid crystals; in some cases these were transferred the first LCD production units in the UK. After 10 yrs at STL he joined Merck (then known as BDH Ltd) and was research manager for 13yrs working with a multidisciplinary team of chemists and physicists in the thermochromic and electro-optic liquid crystals departments in the UK. Later he was responsible for finding new applications for liquid crystals and together with collaborators all around the world developed optical film products based on reactive and polymeric liquid crystals. He has since worked on LCOS and reflective displays as well as working with Magink who he joined on a full time basis in 2002; before that he was an adviser on the materials and display aspects of the products. He has published over 80 articles and 8 scientific textbook chapters; Dr. Coates is named as an inventor on over 200 patents.

Mr. Noah Meiri - VP Sales and Marketing
|

Mr. Noah Meiri is a veteran of the Media Technology market. Prior to joining Magink, Mr. Meiri held the positions of President, Orad North America and Managing Director, Orad UK. During this time he established, managed and helped Orad become a leading player in the international broadcast industry. Among his roles, Mr. Meiri was part of a lobbying body dealing with EU regulations and worked with the analysts that covered Orad during and after the company became public.
Prior to working at Orad, Mr. Meiri was responsible for the network technology market at Digital Israel (D.E.C) as an account manager; where he won, managed and assisted DEC Israel, Ireland and USA with their respective contracts.
Prior to working at DEC, Mr. Meiri held the position of National Sales Manager, Abudi Outdoor Media, working with Israel’s advertising agencies, media buyers and advertisers.
Mr. Noah Meiri holds a B.A in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Serge Steinblatt - VP R&D
|

Dr. Steinblatt holds a Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. He has over twenty years of experience in various fields of optics and fiber optics, developing high end products for the industry. He participated in an ESA project, developing electro-optical equipment in the framework of the Hipparcos satellite program. He then joined Ispra Fiberoptics Industries which manufactured among other communication optical fibers. At a later stage, he joined LaserComm for the development of a dispersion compensation optical fiber. Between these two optical fiber oriented companies, Dr. Steinblatt was with Scitex for 12 years where he was manager of the new technologies group of the image-setter (laser printers) division. A number of new electro-optical and opto-mechanical technologies were developed in his group and subsequently implemented in a range of new products in the company. Dr. Steinbaltt also was with Sagitta and developed a novel laser cleaver for optical fibers, then with ColorChip and participated in the development of integrated optics transceivers for the fiber-to-the-home market. He joined Magink in February 2008. He is named as an inventor on more than 40 patents.

Ms. Rutha Aronson - VP Business Development

Ms. Rutha Aronson brings 19 years of experience in hi-tech products management, development, launch, pres-sales and implementation to Magink. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Aronson held the positions of VP Product Management at SpotJunction, a provider of a web based media buying service that enables advertisers to plan, buy, create and manage ad campaigns across digital signage networks. Prior to that Ms. Aronson was Director of Pre-sales and Product Planning at ClearForest (now Reuters), a provider of text-driven business intelligence and analytic solutions where she defined products strategy and roadmap and drove their commercial launch. Prior to that Ms. Aronson worked at Tecnomatix Technologies, (now Siemens) a provider of solutions for the planning and management of manufacturing operations within the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries.
Ms. Aronson holds B.SC. in computer science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Mr. Ofer Dar - VP Finance & Operations
|

Mr. Ofer Dar holds the position of V.P. Finance & Operation in Magink. Mr. Dar brings to Magink 15 years of experience in financial management positions. As V.P. Finance & Operations, Mr. Dar is responsible for the financial, operational and administrative procedures of the company.
Prior to joining Magink Mr. Dar was Finance manager of a Dutch based Biotech company focusing on the development of new cancer therapies. Previously, Mr. Dar was the CFO of a company that developed software solutions for management of large car fleets. In the past Mr. Dar served as the controller of an engineering company involved mainly in complex governmental projects.
Mr. Dar is a qualified CPA and worked for several years at Arthur Andersen accounting firm. He holds an M.B.A. and a B.A. in Accounting and Business from the College of Management.
